This Data Protection Policy aims to inform all visitors to the Site about how we collect, use, disclose, protect or otherwise process the personal data we collect through the Site.
Peligrad Law processes your data in full accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as well as with any other legislation applicable on the territory of Romania.
- Personal data collected and processed
When you use the Site for informational purposes, we use cookies to automatically collect technical information that can identify the user, such as IP address, type of browser used to access the Site, operating system of the device used, data on visits to the Site (including the number of visits, time spent on the Site, method of accessing the Site, behavior on the Site), traffic generated on our Site through search engines. Also, when you access and use the contact form to send us a message, as well as when you register to receive our newsletter, we collect and process the data provided by you directly, such as your name and email address, so that we can respond to your request.
2. Purpose of processing
We use the personal data collected for the following purposes:
- ensure the functionality, security and successful navigation of the Site;
- compile statistical data on the use of the Site and to analyze and optimize the operation of the Site;
- process messages sent by you, to contact you and to provide you with information that you have voluntarily requested;
- to communicate the newsletter to you, if you have requested it;
- to meet any legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting requirements.
3. Legal basis
We process personal data collected in order to perform the contract for the provision of the Site, in accordance with the applicable Terms and Conditions and based on our legitimate interest in analyzing and improving the performance of the Site.
We also process personal data based on the consent expressed by the data subject by accepting cookies or by sending a message or registering to receive our newsletter.
4. Duration of processing
Personal data collected through the contact form and newsletter subscription form on the Site will be processed for the period necessary to provide you with the requested service.

5. Sharing data with third parties

In some cases, we may share Users' personal data, for the purposes detailed in section 3 above, with these beneficiaries or types of beneficiaries:
- Hosting services - The Platform and all user data are hosted by Webflow, our server provider, on servers located in Europe. Their privacy policy is available at: https://webflow.com/legal/privacy.
- Marketing service providers - The Site uses Google Analytics, an internet traffic analysis program provided by Google, Inc.. Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how users interact with and use the Site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Site (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in Ireland.
Also, the collected data may be transmitted to countries in the EU/EEA according to the Google privacy policy, available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=ro.
- Website maintenance service providers.
6. Rights of the data subject
Persons whose personal data are collected and processed through the Site have the following rights:
a. the right to be informed about the collection and use of their personal data;
b. the right to request access to personal data, in order to obtain a copy of the personal data held by Peligrad Law;
c. the right to request the correction of any incomplete or inaccurate data;
d. the right to request the deletion of personal data, depending on the specifics of the processing, to the extent that the person can be identified and if: (i) the data have been processed unlawfully; (ii) the data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected; (iii) the period provided by law for the retention of the data has expired; (iv) the data subject objects to the processing and there is no legitimate interest in the further processing of the personal data; or (v) consent is withdrawn;
e. the right to request restriction of the processing of personal data, depending on the specifics of the processing, to the extent that the person can be identified and if: (i) a request has been made regarding the accuracy of the processed personal data (the period allowing the verification of the accuracy of the data in question the accuracy of the personal data); (ii) if the data are processed unlawfully; or (iii) the processing of the data is no longer necessary, but the user wishes to keep them, in connection with any legal claims;
f. the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning the data subject or similarly significantly affects them, in which case the processing of personal data will be stopped, unless it is based on the consent of the data subject, is necessary for the performance of a contract or is authorised by law;
g. the right to portability, i.e. the right to request the provision of personal data in a format that can be read by an electronic device (computer), portable format, depending on the specific processing, to the extent that the person can be identified;
h. the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of any processing based on previously expressed consent;
i. the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authorities.
